Pure Engineering Group delivered mechanical and ventilation solutions across both the open kitchen and the main seating areas of Joxer. A vibrant, design-led café and restaurant celebrated for its Mediterranean-inspired menu, high-quality local produce and warm, welcoming atmosphere- even for four-legged friends.

Every element of our installation was carefully coordinated to complement the contemporary interior, allowing the engineering to work quietly in the background while the venue’s character and energy take centre stage.

The scope of work included:

• Pure Vent:

  • Silver Line extract canopies including integrated UV filtration
  • Ansul fire suppression system

• Pure Mechanical:

  • Extraction system including high temperature centrifugal box fan, inverter and potentiometer controls
  • Odour Out unit including 4 stage passive filtration
  • Fresh air system including centrifugal box fan, inline filtration, inverter and potentiometer controls

• Silver Line Extract Canopies with Integrated Ultraviolet Filtration

Installed to efficiently remove heat, grease and airborne contaminants at source, while ultraviolet filtration helps break down grease within the ductwork to improve hygiene, reduce maintenance and enhance overall air quality.

• Ansul Automatic Fire Suppression System

A specialist commercial kitchen fire suppression system designed to automatically detect and extinguish fires at cooking appliances and within extraction hoods, providing rapid response protection for staff, customers and property.

Pure Mechanical Scope of Works

• Kitchen Extraction System with High-Temperature Centrifugal Box Fan, Inverter Drive and Potentiometer Controls

Designed to safely extract high levels of heat and fumes from the kitchen, with an inverter drive and potentiometer controls allowing adjustable fan speeds for improved energy efficiency, airflow control and reduced noise.

• Odour Control Unit with Four-Stage Passive Filtration

Incorporated to minimise cooking odours before air is discharged externally, using a multi-layer filtration process to support environmental compliance and maintain a pleasant surrounding atmosphere.

• Fresh Air Supply System with Centrifugal Box Fan, Inline Filtration, Inverter Drive and Potentiometer Controls

Provides a continuous supply of clean, filtered air into the premises to balance extraction levels, enhance indoor air quality and maintain a comfortable environment for both staff and guests.
