Recognised for their complex hospitality and retail fit-out expertise, Pure Engineering provided a custom-designed mechanical solution that balanced performance, safety, and energy efficiency. The systems were seamlessly integrated to support front-of-house presentation and back-of-house functionality, contributing to the clean, modern, high-performing environment that defines the Fresh brand.

Mechanical Heat recovery ventilation

  • Automatic pressure balancing to maintain safe and efficient kitchen airflow

Fire suppression System

  • Automatic detection and suppression of fires using wet chemical agents engineered explicitly for grease and high-heat applications
  • Seamless integration with the canopy extraction system and gas interlock units for complete kitchen safety automation
  • System activation shuts off fuel and electricity to affected zones instantly, preventing re-ignition
  • Built-in test and maintenance alerts to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and ongoing system readiness

Dishwasher extract system

  • Designed to remove excess steam, heat, and moisture from commercial dishwashing areas 
  • Integrated moisture sensors trigger extraction based on steam levels to optimise energy use and maintain comfortable working conditions.
  • Condensation management to prevent water accumulation on surrounding surfaces

UVC Kitchen extract system

  • High-efficiency UVC technology integrated into the kitchen extract system, sterilising and removing odours and grease to discharge cleaner, safer air
  • Reduces grease build-up inside ductwork, significantly lowering fire risk
  • UVC light actively destroys bacteria, viruses, and odours in the exhaust air
  • Integrated with stainless steel canopy extract hoods and ducting, reducing the need for frequent manual cleaning and improving fire safety by eliminating grease build-up at the source
  • Complete installation includes UVC lamp modules, power supply units, control interface, and safety interlocks, ensuring compliance with hygiene and environmental regulations in commercial kitchens.

Air treatment, including carbon filters 

  • Enhanced air treatment system incorporating multi-stage filtration, including activated carbon filters, to eliminate odours, VOCs, and airborne contaminants.
  • Complete installation includes pre-filters, carbon filter housings, access panels for maintenance, and integration into HVAC ductwork, ensuring high indoor air quality and compliance with ventilation performance standards.

Kitchen fresh air system and associated controls

  • Ensures clean, filtered air is consistently introduced.
  • Maintains correct air pressure to prevent drafts, backflow, and energy loss
  • Temperature sensors to monitor air quality and automatically adjust airflow rates for optimal working conditions
