The project was designed to meet the rigorous demands of a high-throughput hospitality environment and included fully customised ventilation, climate control, and safety systems. Pure Engineering’s tailored approach ensured optimal performance, energy efficiency, and compliance, supporting Boojum’s commitment to quality, speed, and customer comfort in a busy urban dining setting.

VRF/ VRV Air conditioning system- heat recovery

  • Smart climate control with Multi-floor VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) air conditioning system
  • Heat Pump providing refrigeration to indoor units, including pipework, cabling, condensate, and HVAC Systems installation)

Mechanical Heat recovery ventilation

  • Energy-efficient heat recovery ventilation system
  • Strip out the plant room equipment to allow PEG-installed services (ventilation solutions)

General ventilation

  • Extract ductwork, fire dampers, and grilles.

Fire smoke dampers

  • Advanced safety systems installed fire/smoke dampers with a smart control system

Mechanical MCC controls

  • Installation of 2kW electronic radiators, electrical control, MCC panel controls

Gas services and associated controls

  • Comprehensive gas system installation with leak detection

Bespoke Kitchen canopies with integrated controls

  • Installation of bespoke kitchen canopies equipped with control and automation systems
  • Fan speeds automatically adjust based on real-time cooking activity.
  • Built-in alert system for operational changes or malfunctions
  • Automatic pressure balancing to maintain safe and efficient kitchen airflow
  • Custom-designed kitchen extraction system created to control odour and grease, preventing contamination and maintaining air quality standards 

Fire suppression System

  • Automatic detection and suppression of fires using wet chemical agents 
  • Seamless integration with the canopy extraction system and gas interlock units for complete kitchen safety automation
  • System activation shuts off fuel and electricity to affected zones instantly, preventing re-ignition
  • Built-in test and maintenance alerts to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and ongoing system readiness

Dishwasher extract system

  • Designed to remove excess steam, heat, and moisture from commercial dishwashing areas 
  • Integrated moisture sensors trigger extraction based on steam levels to optimise energy use and maintain comfortable working conditions.
  • Condensation management to prevent water accumulation on surrounding surfaces

Kitchen fresh air system and associated controls

  • Ensures clean, filtered air is consistently introduced.
  • Maintains correct air pressure to prevent drafts, backflow, and energy loss
  • Temperature sensors to monitor air quality and automatically adjust airflow rates for optimal working conditions
  • Real-time monitoring, remote access, and fault alert systems
